Watching music videos by Michael Gondry (Kylie Minogue, Chemical Brothers, Duft Punk). I really like Gondry's unique style of using groundbreaking imagination. It's often a question that 'How did they do that'?? Then we discussed the techniques in order to achieve a perfect and creative video or film. It is interesting that he is capable of altering new technologies in animation, editing, and storytelling by creating new visual media that affects your eyes, ears, and brain.
At the second half of the class he showed us some of his works and videos. The most fascinating was the one with the black dog duplicated many times. It reminds me a bit to the Kylie Minogue music video.
